We love getting creative in our house, so when Cadbury Gifts Direct got in touch to see if we’d like to take part in their ‘Eggs Factor’ competition we just couldn’t resist!
As Easter is always about big chocolate eggs, they wanted to give the spotlight back to Creme Eggs by encouraging people to create their own special tributes to the nation’s favourite gooey-treat…and in order for us to get involved we were very kindly sent a box of the treats in question!
So armed with some tissue paper squares and a few elastic bands, the boys and I began to create our entry which is dedicated to the sweet, gooey, nectar-like centre of the creme eggs…
So we’re well into the Easter holidays and, if your family is anything like mine, times have been hectic, tiring and fun! It has helped that the sun has been shining on us…but I still feel the need for a little me-time…and a little chocolately ‘Pick-Up’…and thanks to Bahlsen I can give one of you a ‘Pick-Up’ too – in the form of a whole case of PiCK UP! biscuits (14 x packets of five individually wrapped biscuits).
Every year, for the school Christmas fair, I like to get creative with my class – and this year was no exception! With a little ‘pinspiration’ I can across an idea involving white chocolate and marshmallows to make snowmen lollies, so this weekend had some fun with the boys testing and making prototypes!
To make the lollies we used marshmallows, white chocolate, smarties and writing icing.
I LOVE getting creative in the kitchen at Christmas – and this year I seem to have started early to get ready for the school Christmas fair!
This year we had to send in a small festive food item… and for me this meant having some fun!
I really enjoy making sweet treats, and every year my reindeer lollies go down a storm…so that is what we decided to make!
We LOVE chocolate (well, who doesn’t???) so were more than thrilled when were were chosen to host a Dairy Milk Family Night as part of a sponsored post for Collective Bias®. Nothing goes better together than quality time with the family and chocolate!
The first part of our challenge was to visit our local supermarket and shop for supplies – the ESSENTIAL Cadbury Dairy Milk plus any other bits and bobs for our Family fun!
On this occasion, as we had been at a birthday party in a nearby town, we didn’t go to our most local supermarket, but to the place where we go once a month to do our ‘Big Shop!’ – and this happened to be Asda. To be honest, the prospect of visiting Asda on a Friday night at 7pm was not the most welcomed one.. but it had to be done! So we braved it… only to find a relatively quiet Asda which was well stocked too!
In store there was a HUGE selection of Cadbury Dairy Milk products… including the NEW Marvellous Creations range. Continue reading
