Every year, for the school Christmas fair, I like to get creative with my class – and this year was no exception! With a little ‘pinspiration’ I can across an idea involving white chocolate and marshmallows to make snowmen lollies, so this weekend had some fun with the boys testing and making prototypes!
We started by threading 3 marshmallows onto a wooden skewer. For the ‘real’ thing I am going to use lollipop sticks to make them safer, but they haven’t arrived yet!!!
Seeing as these were prototypes we then had a bit of a play with the faces, just with bits we had in the cupboard, finding things for the eyes, nose and mouth. I think it was decided we would eventually use chocolate drops for the eyes, red writing icing for the nose, then get some black writing icing to make ‘coal-like’ dots for the mouth! Either way, they looked great (and tasted even better!)
If you decide to have a go, I’d love to see your creations! Enjoy xXx
