We love a good game in our house – they are a great excuse to switch off the ‘box’ and have some family time!
For this one, we have put together a short video review so I hope you enjoy!
Covering the numerals 1-5, the aim of the game is to help Shelby to find her buried bones, collecting them using the dog shaped tweezers (which are great to help develop fine motor control and hand/eye co-ordination!). Whilst playing you also get the opportunity to learn and practice number recognition with the numerals 1-5, and early counting skills when counting up your bones to find the total! Shelby’s Snack Shack Game also introduces the basic skills of addition and subtraction, adding more bones to your bowl and also having the seagulls take some away!
As a game for 2-4 players, we had a great time playing… and the boys played three times in a row to start with as they liked it so much!
A BIG thumbs up from the boys for ‘play-ability’ – and a thumbs up from Mummy for all the early learning opportunities!
